This Concert is dedicated to Gerard Francis Wood. He was a member of the Barbara Walton Singers for 20 years. He so enjoyed his singing with the choir and was an enthusiastic member, never wishing to miss a rehearsal and preparing conscientiously for performances. His presence on the bass line and his help with staging for concerts are much missed. Gerard enjoyed the music of the Baroque - we are all delighted that James Bowman will dedicate a song to his memory.
